2025 Brigada Eskwela Regional Kick-Off
DepEd NCR launched the 2025 Brigada Eskwela in Jose Rizal Elementary School, Pasay City. The kick-off is graced by DepEd NCR Regional Director, Asec. Jocelyn DR Andaya and buzzed with excitement as she introduced Pasay City Mayor, Hon. Imelda Calixto-Rubiano. Together, they brought stories to life by reading “May Gadget Ako, May Libro Ako” to eager incoming grade 2 learners, sparking joy and a love for reading.
In her powerful call to action, Asec. Joyce Andaya urged everyone to unite for Brigada Eskwela. She highlighted that truly preparing schools means more than just readying the buildings; it means collaboratively building up the resources needed to enhance our learners’ literacy.
The event’s guest of honor, Asec. Nilo L. Rosas, who delivered a powerful message of support, encouraged our schools and stakeholders to embrace the “bayanihan spirit” in preparing our classrooms for the new school year.
This kick-off marks the beginning of a community effort—where parents, teachers, volunteers, and local leaders come together to ensure a safe, clean, and inspiring learning environment for our learners.
