DepEd NCR Gears Up for SY 2025–2026 School Opening with Region-wide Monitoring
In adherence to DepEd Order No. 012, s. 2025 and Regional Memorandum No. 435, s. 2025, DepEd NCR is currently conducting a region-wide school monitoring activity from June 16 to 17, 2025. This initiative supports the smooth and safe opening of classes for School Year 2025–2026 by gathering real-time data on learner enrollment, availability of learning resources, and on-the-ground concerns that may affect the readiness of schools. The activity also ensures that timely and appropriate technical assistance is provided to schools and divisions where needed.
Led by the Field Technical Assistance Division (FTAD), in coordination with all regional functional divisions and Schools Division Offices (SDOs), RO Monitors are deployed to validate compliance with key DepEd programs such as Brigada Eskwela, Oplan Balik Eskwela, and Learning Recovery initiatives. Monitors are tasked to document best practices, identify emerging issues, and encode findings in real time. Consolidated insights will be used to inform policy adjustments, enhance support systems, and guide future interventions for an improved learning environment across the region.
