President Marcos Jr. Visits Epifanio delos Santos Elementary School for School Year Opening
President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. graced the opening of classes at Epifanio delos Santos Elementary School (EDSES) today, reaffirming his administration’s commitment to quality education and school preparedness. The Chief Executive was accompanied by DepEd Secretary Juan Edgardo “Sonny’ Angara, DepEd NCR Regional Director and concurrent OIC of the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Operations, Asec. Jocelyn DR Andaya of and Schools Division Superintendent Nerissa Roxas-Lomeda of SDO Manila.
During his visit, President Marcos engaged with students, teachers, and school officials, emphasizing the importance of safe and conducive learning environments. “Education remains a top priority for our nation. We will ensure that every child has access to the tools and opportunities they need to succeed,” he stated.
Asec. Andaya and SDS Lomeda highlighted DepEd’s ongoing programs to address classroom shortages and improve learning resources. The President also inspected newly renovated facilities and distributed school supplies to eager learners.
