DepEd NCR Convenes 6th REXECOM Meeting, Pivots on Service Excellence and Integrity
DepEd National Capital Region convened its 6th Regional Executive Committee (REXECOM) Meeting today, July 20, 2026, at the Varela Hall. Presided by DepEd NCR Regional Director and concurrent Officer-in-Charge of the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Operations, Asec. Jocelyn DR Andaya, the assembly brought together Functional Division Chiefs and Unit & Section Heads to steer the Region’s strategic direction for the latter half of the year.
Asec. Andaya led the review of critical deliverables, emphasizing the paramount importance of delivering public service with excellence and unwavering integrity. The session underscored the need for efficient resource management and a steadfast commitment to educational outcomes.
Key agenda items included the presentation of the Budget Utilization Report, updates on Hiring and Recruitment, and the establishment of a training academy for flagship learning and development programs. The committee also tackled risk management report, infrastructure progress, and the monitoring of essential programs such as safety and security, reading nooks, and comfort rooms.
The meeting highlighted the Region’s collective resolve to ensure operational efficiency and uphold the highest standards of public service for the learners and stakeholders of Metro Manila.
