DepEd NCR Leaders Convene for 6th Joint RExReManCom Meeting, Reaffirm Commitment to Learner Achievement

The 6th Joint Regional Executive Committee and Regional Management Committee (RExReManCom) Meeting convened yesterday, June 17, 2026, at Luxent Hotel in Quezon City, bringing together top education officials from across the National Capital Region. Hosted by the Schools Division Office of Quezon City under the leadership of SDS Carleen S. Sedilla, CESO V, the gathering served as a pivotal platform for reviewing regional performance and charting strategic directions for the remainder of the year.

DepEd NCR Regional Director and concurrent Officer-in-Charge of the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Operations, Asec. Jocelyn DR Andaya delivered a compelling message during the Director’s Hour, emphasizing the Region’s unwavering commitment to increasing learning outcomes across all divisions. “Our collective efforts must translate into tangible improvements in learner achievement,” she stressed, rallying the committee around the shared goal of educational excellence.

The comprehensive agenda covered critical reports including the Budget Utilization Report, Post-Evaluation of the 2026 Palarong Pambansa and Brigada Eskwela, and the Status of Recruitment under the Expanded Career Progression. Additionally, the committee deliberated on the MINT and SIGMA Training reports, assessment results, and private school tuition fee increase applications, ensuring sustained progress in the Region’s education landscape.
