DEPED-NCR Conducts Site Visit
MARCH 22, 2024 – DepEd – NCR Task Force conducts ocular inspection to all private schools within its jurisdiction in response to Central Office’s reiteration of reasonable supervision and regulation among private education institutions.
Pursuant to Memorandum dated March 6, 2024, all Regional Directors are instructed to conduct an ocular inspection to all private schools within 15 days from the date of its release and are directed to submit a consolidated report on enrollment data, permit to operate, curriculum offerings, ongoing assistance such as voucher programs, and other relevant matters assessed throughout the site inspection.
In response to the directive, the Legal Unit headed by Atty. Annaliza G. Esperanza, was tasked to facilitate the formulation of the Regional Task Force and coordinated with the Division offices to route their plans and objectives throughout the monitoring. Hence, the Division Task Force has the flexibility to create a composite team with a minimum of five members per SDO, based on the sound discretion of the Schools Division Superintendent.
As one DepEd NCR, the site inspection commenced on March 12, 2024, and is in the final part of evaluation. The site visit will serve as an essential step towards ensuring a conducive learning environment for learners across the Region.
