DepEd Secretary Sonny Angara and Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte Lead Turnover of Learning Resources at San Francisco High School

DepEd Secretary Sonny Angara, alongside Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte, visited San Francisco High School under the Schools Division Office of Quezon City earlier today to distribute essential learning tools and equipment for faculty and students.

Assisted by Usec. Wilfredo E. Cabral, DepEd NCR Regional Director, Asec. Jocelyn DR Andaya, SDS Carleen S. Sedilla, and Principal Marissa Nava-Rodriguez, the officials spearheaded the turnover of laptops, water dispensers, and other classroom materials aimed at enhancing the school’s teaching and learning environment.

In his remarks, Sec. Angara emphasized DepEd’s commitment to supporting educators with modern tools to improve instruction. “Our teachers are at the heart of quality education. Providing them with the necessary resources ensures that our learners receive the best possible guidance,” he stated.

Mayor Belmonte reaffirmed the local government’s partnership with DepEd, highlighting Quezon City’s ongoing investments in education. The event concluded with a ceremonial handover and a tour of the school’s facilities.
