Successful Conclusion of the DepEd NCR ICT Coordination Meeting

The Department of Education – National Capital Region ICTU successfully convened a coordination meeting to discuss the latest updates on ICT initiatives, procurement activities, and automation progress. This session reinforced the commitment to strengthening collaboration among SDO stakeholders and ensuring that ICT efforts align with DepEd NCR’s five priority areas.

Key discussions covered progress in the DepEd Computerization Program (DCP), updates on Prime Automation, system enhancements for Microsoft 365, Adobe Creative Cloud, and Canva for Education, as well as standardizing data templates to improve resource tracking and reporting efficiency.

Significant recommendations were presented, including policy directives for proper device allocation, strategies for student account management on shared school devices, and procurement plans for licenses to support technical drafting courses, among others. Additionally, participants addressed clarifications on ICT equipment warranties, ensuring a structured approach to disposal and repair policies.

The meeting concluded with a reaffirmation of collective efforts toward enhancing digital integration in schools and optimizing IT systems for educational excellence.
