Regional Palarong Pambansa 2024 Concludes with Spectacular Closing Ceremony

The Regional Palarong Pambansa 2024 drew to a triumphant close on April 26, 2024, with a vibrant Closing Ceremony hosted by the School Division Office of Caloocan City under the leadership of Dr. Jenilyn Rose B. Corpuz, CESO V, Schools Division Superintendent. Distinguished guests including DepEd NCR Regional Director Jocelyn DR Andaya, Assistant Regional Director Cristito A. Eco, and School Division Superintendents graced the occasion, alongside participants from sixteen (16) school division offices.

The event showcased a dazzling array of performances from talented students representing various schools in Caloocan City, captivating the audience with their energy and theatrical flair. Recognition was bestowed upon outstanding efforts, resulting in the following official team standings:

Elementary Division:

  3. Manila

In her address, Regional Director Joyce Andaya commended the athletes, stating, “To our athletes, you are the true stars of this day. These experiences will shape you not just as athletes but as individuals with the resilience to succeed in any endeavor you choose. In July, you will play under the banner of One NCR Stronger Together, and there, we will showcase to the entire Philippines what NCR is made of.”

The Closing Ceremony also poignantly reminded participants of the unifying power of sports, fostering camaraderie and sportsmanship among participants from diverse backgrounds. As the event concluded, participants departed with renewed pride and accomplishment, carrying cherished memories of spirited competition.
