Unity in Action: Regional Office Personnel Gather for Flag Ceremony, Reaffirm Commitment to Strategic Goals
DepEd National Capital Region held its weekly flag raising ceremony earlier today, September 7, 2026, at the NCR Grounds, with the Personnel Section and Asset Management Section taking the lead in facilitating the event. The ceremony, held in observance of Literacy Week with the theme: “Promoting literacy in the digital era.”
In a significant moment during the program, DepEd NCR Regional Director and concurrent OIC-Assistant Secretary for Operations, Asec. Jocelyn DR Andaya, represented by OIC-ARD Rita E. Riddle, delivered an inspiring message underscoring the importance of the recently concluded Regional Performance Recalibration and Strategic Planning held in Cavite. ARD Riddle emphasized that such strategic endeavors are crucial in realizing the deliverables of every office within the Regional Office, reinforcing the collective commitment to operational excellence and goal alignment.
Meanwhile, Ms. Elsa P. Mariano, Head of the Personnel Section, took the podium to share important reminders regarding personnel leave credits. She provided clear guidance on the proper application, availment, and processing of leaves, ensuring that all employees are well-informed of the procedures to maximize their benefits.
