A New Dawn for Quality: DepEd NCR Embraces 2026 with Resolve and Renewal
Kicking off the year with purpose, DepEd NCR personnel gathered this morning for a flag ceremony brimming with hope and commitment. DepEd NCR Regional Director and concurrent Officer-in-Charge of the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Operations, ASec. Jocelyn DR Andaya inspired the assembly with a message of epiphany and renewal. She emphasized that the new year is a time for repurposing oneself for Filipino learners, asserting that collective efforts as One NCR are never in vain and will pave the way for a better year ahead.
The ceremony, hosted by the Human Resource Development Division for January, also underscored the foundation of quality service. Chief Hajji R. Palmero reinforced core quality management principles, a crucial preparation for the upcoming ISO audit, aligning with the week’s advocacy on QMS ISO 9001:2015. The event, part of National Time Consciousness Week, blended a commitment to punctuality with a profound dedication to continuous improvement and excellence in education service.
