DepEd NCR Celebrates National Victory: NCR Delegates Shine at the Gawad Teodora Alonso 2025
The recent Gawad Teodora Alonso (GTA) 2025 Recognition Rites stands as one of DepEd’s most significant national events celebrating excellence in the creation, development, and promotion of learning resources across the country.
This activity honors the outstanding contributions of teachers, writers, illustrators, and regional learning resource teams whose works uphold quality and innovation in educational materials which was held from February 2–5, 2026 at the Bohol Tropics Resort in Tagbilaran City, Bohol.
The recognition program features a Reading Exhibit showcasing GTA recognized works and notable regional learning resource projects, creating opportunities for benchmarking and knowledge sharing.
It is further enriched by activities such as the Learning Resources Consultative Conference (LR ConCon), an onsite storytelling contest, and several sub events, including preliminary awarding ceremonies and open mic storytelling.
With this, DepEd NCR proudly congratulates our National GTA 2025 Winners:
- 2nd Place Storybooks for DRR – “Anak ng Lindol” (SDO Valenzuela City)
- 4th Place Comics -“NIO X” (SDO Valenzuela City)
