Governance and Operations Leaders Convene to Strengthen Learner Support Systems
The Department of Education’s Governance and Operations Management Committee held its pivotal meeting today, August 12, 2026, at DepEd NCR Regional Office in Quezon City. Undersecretary for Governance and Operations, Usec. Malcolm S. Garma presided over the session, joined by Assistant Secretaries Roger B. Masapol and Jocelyn DR. Andaya, alongside key resource persons. The agenda covered critical areas including the Governance and Operations Framework, Ensuring a Safe and Motivating Learning Environment (ESMLE), mental health interventions, bullying prevention, and school safety programs. Presentations on Project TALAN, Project Ligtas, and the M7X Ready Program highlighted the commitment to fostering resilient and supportive learning environments for all Filipino learners.
