DepEd NCR Receives Prestigious ISO 9001:2015 Certification, Setting New Standards in Education Management
April 26, 2024 – After the rigorous Stage 2 external audit that took place on February 29-March 1, 2024, the Department of Education-National Capital Region (DepEd NCR) achieved a major milestone. It was awarded its Certificate No. PHP QMS 24 93 0193 ISO 9001:2015 on April 26, 2024 at the Sequoia Hotel, Paranaque City by TUV NORD PHILIPPINES, INC. , a prestigious certifying body. The Office of the Undersecretary for Human Resource and Organizational Development through the Organization Effectiveness Division (BHROD-OED) as the Secretariat of the National Quality Management System spearheaded the Certification Awarding Ceremony with the theme “Yugto: Simula ng Pagbabago”.
This achievement is a monument of its constant commitment to excellence through the leadership of Regional Director Jocelyn DR Andaya. DepEd -NCR had its first certificate on ISO 9001:2015 in 2019 and again certified this time under the One DepEd, One QMS initiative of the Department of Education.
This Certificate marks not only DepEd NCR’s journey towards greater accomplishments for unwavering pursuit of excellence in education service management but a responsibility to maintain the same in accordance with intetnational and local standards.
