DepEd NCR strengthens anti-bullying policies in schools
The Department of Education – National Capital Region (DepEd-NCR) has drafted enhanced policies to streamline and strengthen anti-bullying initiatives across school communities.
The proposed measures aim to reinforce the implementation of Republic Act No. 10627, or the Anti-Bullying Act of 2013, by providing clearer operational definitions, standardized reporting mechanisms, and region-specific intervention protocols aligned with national guidelines.
During the meeting, the Technical Working Group (TWG) presented key elements of the policy framework for review and discussion. Essential terms were also defined to ensure consistent understanding and application across schools in the region.
