NCR trainers are ready!

Indeed, it was an empowering journey! The Department of Education, through the Bureau of Curriculum Development, organized a five-day national training of trainers on the MATATAG curriculum from February 5th to February 9th, 2024. The aim was to provide fresh insights and a structured framework for enhancing the teaching of various subjects across different regions.
The event kicked off with a pre-assessment opening program, designed to gauge participants’ comprehension levels and establish a foundational understanding of the training’s diverse topics. Subsequently, the MATATAG Curriculum was introduced, along with discussions on integrating 21st-century skills.
Led by the remarkable Ms. Ayette Ferriols, the participants journeyed through language, reading, and literacy, uncovering how these skills can transform education on every level. She led a session delving into specific cases and scenarios to illustrate the impact of these skills on education at both the micro and macro levels.
The following days were a whirlwind of discovery. From mathematics to GMRC, Filipino, and beyond, the participants explored effective teaching methods and practical knowledge for the 21st-century classroom. The sessions provided invaluable insights into learning competencies and practical knowledge, empowering educators to transform theory into action.
With a focus on application, the training culminated in classroom practices for inclusion, lesson plan preparation, and classroom observation, ensuring a holistic approach to education. Overall, the training aims to empower educators to deliver quality education and nurture competent individuals within the MATATAG curriculum.
Trainers from the NCR are poised to share their newfound expertise, fostering continuous growth and learning across the education sector. Together, let’s champion the effective implementation of the MATATAG Curriculum and pave the way for a brighter future!
Once again, good morning, everyone! Mabuhay ang Edukasyon ng Filipino! Mabuhay ang lahat ng mga pinuno sa pagbuo ng pag-aaral na ito!
